For redness under the eyes you may also be suffering from allergies.

Great Evening with Friends!

Smith Friday Night galaTim and I had a wonderful time at the Pat and Emmitt Smith Charity Dinner on Friday, May 10th!  As seen with our patient winner, Carmel Ray, as well as Teresa Garland – I had a great time dancing and enjoying the evening.  Although it was disappointing that our Guest Celebrity was a “no-show” – we had our own celebrities and dear friends, Mellie and Bob Baggett, and Mary Ellen and Barry Hess finish out our dinner table – and add their own “star shine”  to the night!   Thank you for everyone who came out to support the charity and support the children in need in Collin County and surrounding areas.

An Evening to Imagine: Children’s Advocacy Center of Collin County

CACCC Gala PicTHANK YOU to all the volunteers and Gala Committee, who once again, created a fabulous event!  Tim and I were delighted to attend the table of our dear friends, Dan and Inez Browning (in photo), to help raise funds for the CACCC (Children’s Advocacy Center of Collin County).  The CACCC is dedicated to providing safety, healing, and justice at the Children’s Advocacy Center. Under one roof they house law enforcement, child protective services, therapists, caseworkers, interns, nurses, and volunteers. Additionally, they work hand-in-hand with the District Attorney’s office. Each day this team provides families safety, support and the resources they need to finally begin to heal.

The night provided a wonderful array of silent and live auction items.  In addition to gift certificates donated by Skin MD and Beyond, my friend Shannon Cotten (photographed with me) also donated her design talents from Square Foot Studios. Recently Shannon helped with my own personal home renovations and Tim and I are thrilled!  To finish the evening, the band Foreigner, provided the live entertainment and everyone danced into the wee hours!

Again, thank you to the CACCC for a wonderful event and for all they do for our community.

A Wonderful Evening at the 2013 Cotes de Coeur Gala!

AHA Picture-webOur dear friends Dan and Inez Browning, once again gave us a fantastic evening’s experience!

The (AHA) American Heart Association’s Cotes du Coeur gala is a premier spring-time black-tie event which hosts a live auction featuring one-of-a kind culinary experiences and an unparalleled silent auction comprising over 2,000 wines.  Sponsored by the Dallas Division of the AHA, the spring gala is the largest of its kind and is the number one gala in the nation for the American Heart Association. Proceeds from Côtes du Coeur go directly to the AHA for cardiovascular research and heart health educational programs.

Tim and I enjoyed the culinary experiences of celebrity chefs lead by Chef Richard Chamberlain and Kent Rathbun and toasted wines with our good friends Jeffee and Chris (seen in the pictures).   As it always for a great cause, Tim and I enjoyed looking at all the wine auction items – and fingers crossed that we won some!  Then both our friends and patients can enjoy them in our Beyond Spa Tuscany Retreat!

Cheers,

Fiona !!
